One of my New Years trys for 2020 is to read a book a month. I use to read all of the time but life takes you in different directions and I got away from it. So for 2020 I am going back to reading. I have just completed my new study in my house and plan to put the comfy chairs and bookshelves to use! I had forgotten how reading lets you escape, expands your vocabulary, lets you use your imagination and of course put your brain to use. For January I chose a book from Jenna Bush Hager’s Book Club, Evvie Drake Starts Over by Linda Holmes. I really enjoyed this lite read, although it deals with some heavy subjects and makes you think “What would I do?”, it stays lite and entertaining and for me I was always excited to pick it back up and see what was next.
