Want to make a fun impressive very easy salad. This is it. Wow your guest with this one.

BLT SALAD

Large Firm Heirloom Tomatoes

Bacon

Butter lettuce or any lettuce of your liking

Homemade Ranch(recipe on blog) or any vinegarette

additional toppings of choice: blue cheese, cheddar cheese, chives, gorganzola etc

Fry Bacon set aside to cool

Take tomatoes and cut around the top to make a large enough hole to make it a bowl

Hollow out tomatoes just a little so you can get enough lettuce in it and you are not eating just tomatoe

Put lettuce in hollowed out tomatoe(i used a bag of butter lettuce)

Sprinkle the top with the cooled bacon

Top with a nice drizzle of the dressing or serve the dressing on the side

I also offered different add on toppings on the side

Make sure you have salt and pepper on table , I like lots of salt on my tomatoes!
